Relatives have honored their “sweetest, kindest” grandmother, Maureen Davidson, 83, who passed away at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Saturday. Her death occurred two weeks after she was struck by a car on Whinhill Road in Aberdeen on 6 December. Police Scotland confirmed that investigations into the circumstances of the incident are continuing. In a released statement, Ms Davidson’s family conveyed that they were “devastated by the tragic loss of our lovely mother and grandma”. They highlighted that she had been in excellent health and “lived independently with a buzzing social life”, frequently enjoying meals out with friends, bingo, and dancing. Ms Davidson’s granddaughter further stated: “My grandma is one of the sweetest, kindest and most resilient people you could ever meet. “She was like a parent to me, and I’m forever grateful to have had her in my life.” Police Scotland issued an appeal for individuals with any information regarding the incident, which occurred at approximately 11:20, to get in touch with them. Sgt Alexander Bowser-Riley commented: “Our thoughts are with Maureen’s family and friends and everyone affected by this incident. “Officers will continue to support the family as our inquiries progress.” Post navigation Three-year-old girl injured in fall from second-story window PSNI Initiates Review of Three Suicide-Recorded Cases Following Katie Simpson Report
