Police Officer Suspended Following Child Sex Offence Charge

A police officer currently on active duty has been charged with a sexual offence and has been suspended from their role. PC Daniel Hunt is accused of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child. This accusation follows an incident that took place in Wallingford in December 2023. The Thames Valley Police officer was previously stationed at Maidenhead Police Station before his arrest in January. The 32-year-old is scheduled to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on 29 November.
