A road in Hull is anticipated to remain closed for a period of seven days due to a burst water main, according to an announcement from the city council. This pipe failure has necessitated a temporary closure within the Wincolmlee district, specifically between Oxford Street and Cumberland Street. A two-way diversion has been implemented, and Hull City Council has issued advice for individuals to steer clear of the affected vicinity. Yorkshire Water has confirmed that although the water supply to local businesses and residential properties remains unaffected, the company “appreciates that the traffic diversion may cause delays and disruptions”. A spokesperson for Yorkshire Water further stated: “Our teams are working as quickly as possible to fix this. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank everyone for their patience.” Post navigation Widow Pledges Unwavering Campaign for Hard Shoulder Reinstatement Ford to Cut 800 UK Jobs Citing Low Electric Vehicle Demand
