Boston Borough Council has confirmed that a redevelopment project for a previously derelict site in Boston is scheduled to commence in January. According to Boston Borough Council, the initial phase of work at Rosegarth Square will begin on January 6. This phase will involve erecting hoardings around the perimeter to facilitate the start of demolition activities. A spokesperson indicated that during this stage, which is projected to last until April, existing roads and footpaths within the site will continue to be accessible. A councillor remarked that the initiative presents a chance to “breathe new life” into the locality. The plans for Rosegarth Square are anticipated to feature the creation of a new public park, which will stretch from the River Witham to the Len Medlock Centre. The council stated that enhancements to pedestrian pathways and the introduction of art installations are also part of the site’s development. Councillor Anne Dorrian commented: “Rosegarth Square has long been in need of transformation.”This project represents an exciting opportunity to breathe new life into an area that will soon become a striking gateway to the heart of Boston.” Post navigation Proposals revealed for 1,000-residence development on green belt Fire at Dorchester Cafe Leads to Partial Building Collapse
