An 86-year-old motorist has died following what authorities described as a single-vehicle collision. Essex Police and paramedics were dispatched to Main Road in Great Holland, near Clacton-on-Sea, at approximately 13:00 GMT, where a purple Audi TT had crashed. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, and his family is receiving support from specialist officers. The roadway was closed between Manor Road and Pork Lane to allow for investigative work.
