Man held in Lincoln murder inquiry

A man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the fatality of a 55-year-old male in Lincoln. Police were dispatched to Carholme Road just before 23:30 GMT on Sunday after an individual sustained severe head injuries. The person was pronounced deceased at the location. A 37-year-old man has been arrested and remains under police detention. Lincolnshire Police stated that a scene guard was “likely to remain for some time,” resulting in the closure of a road segment from the A46 to Carholme Road.
