Police Issue CCTV Appeal After Doncaster Nightclub Assault

Police have released an image of an individual they wish to interview regarding a reported assault at a Doncaster nightclub earlier this year. According to South Yorkshire Police, a man was reportedly attacked at Pop Works on Silver Street around 04:40 BST on August 17. He required hospital treatment before being discharged. Officers indicated their desire to speak with the man shown in the CCTV image concerning the incident, believing he may be able to assist with their inquiries, and requested public help in identifying him. Police described the man as believed to be white, of slim build, in his early 20s, approximately 5ft 6ins (1.7m) tall, with short ginger hair and “scruffy” facial hair. Anyone able to identify the man or possessing information about the incident is asked to contact the South Yorkshire force.
