Jack Shore, the Welsh featherweight from Abertillery, experienced his second consecutive defeat, marking a first in his career, when he was overcome by Youssef Zalal at UFC Fight Night 246. The 29-year-old fighter found himself on the defensive from the beginning of the second round after Zalal connected with a precisely timed knee strike. Zalal, representing Morocco, capitalized on the opportunity by applying an arm triangle choke, thereby securing his third consecutive submission victory within the UFC. These successive losses for Shore, from Wales, adjust his professional record to 17-3, while Zalal’s record now stands at 16-5-1.
