An arrest has been made following a stabbing incident involving another man outside a pub located in Surrey. Law enforcement officials stated they responded to a call at the Whyteleafe Tavern, situated in Whyteleafe, on Wednesday at 17:30 GMT. Surrey Police reported that the victim, identified as being in his 30s, was transported to hospital for stab wounds and subsequently discharged. The force confirmed that a 43-year-old man, a resident of Whyteleafe, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Detective Inspector Jo Horner commented: “We want to reassure you that our teams are working hard to understand what happened.” She appealed to anyone with information or pertinent dashcam footage to contact the force.
