An 18-year-old individual has been charged following a fatal road traffic collision on the A9 near Aviemore, which took place nine months ago. The incident, which involved a blue Skoda Octavia and a white Toyota Hilux pick-up truck, occurred close to Lynwilg around 13:45 on Tuesday, March 5. Roy Bannerman, aged 60, who was driving the Skoda, sustained severe injuries and was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. He passed away at the hospital three days subsequent to the incident. The 18-year-old had previously undergone arrest and was released while further investigations were conducted.
