Ross County has secured the services of goalkeeper Jordan Amissah under a “short-term deal”. Amissah is set to contend with Jack Hamilton for the primary goalkeeping position, following Ross Laidlaw’s sidelining for a minimum of two months due to a knee injury. The 23-year-old Amissah developed his skills within the youth systems of Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund prior to his move to Sheffield United. Subsequently, he undertook loan periods at Guiseley, Spennymoor Town, and Burton Albion, and was released by the Blades during the summer. Don Cowie, the County boss, stated, “We are delighted to add Jordan to the group.” He further explained the decision, saying, “With Ross Laidlaw out for a period of time, we felt it was really important to add another goalkeeper to our squad.”
