An individual has been taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing that occurred in Gloucester. Law enforcement officers were dispatched to a residence on Cromwell Street during the early hours of Tuesday, where they discovered a man with multiple injuries. He was transported to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for medical attention, and he remains there. A man in his 20s, from the Forest of Dean, was apprehended nearby and is currently being held for questioning. Forensic examinations have been conducted at the scene throughout the night, and police have stated that a visible presence will be maintained as searches continue. Gloucestershire Police are in the initial stages of their investigation but believe two other men, who were described as being white, were involved in the assault. Officers are appealing to anyone living in the vicinity with doorbell camera footage or CCTV to make contact.
