Relatives of a man who died following an incident at an industrial estate have honored his memory, stating, “nobody should go to work and not come home.” They characterized 19-year-old Zacharias Atkinson, also known as Puddy, as someone who “lived every moment to the fullest.” This description comes after he sustained fatal injuries at a privately-owned dockyard site in Bootle, Merseyside, during Wednesday afternoon. His relatives stated: “Our beautiful boy Puddy has had his young life taken in the most horrific circumstances.”Our family and all of his friends are devastated beyond words. Nobody should go to work and not come home.” Merseyside Police and the Health and Safety Executive have commenced a collaborative inquiry into the events surrounding Mr Atkinson’s demise.
