Seven-year-old twin brothers, Ed and Sid, have collected over £4,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity, honoring the memory of their father, James. Their father passed away from cancer on 25 August 2024, at the age of 33, following a diagnosis in 2020. The boys organized a cake sale as part of their fundraising efforts. Supported by their mother, Dawn, and their grandmother, Hayley, the twins arranged a cake sale to commemorate their father. The Brain Tumour Charity is dedicated to funding research for brain tumour treatments and providing assistance to affected families. Ed stated, “We did it because our dad died. “We wanted to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity so that no-one has to go through what our dad went through.”” The funds were accumulated through a raffle, a tombola, and a cake sale held at Shiloh Church. Hayley commented, “We just want his name to always be out there. We want to raise awareness of brain tumours…”We just want to get the word out there that there needs to be more research.””
