Bristol’s Cabot Circus shopping centre is set to welcome a new cinema, filling a vacancy left by the closure of its predecessor last year. The facility has operated without a cinema since the Showcase De Lux ceased operations in 2023. An Odeon theatre is projected to open in the identical location, with an anticipated launch in 2025. Hammerson, the proprietor of Cabot Circus, indicated that customer feedback from surveys highlighted a new cinema as the most desired addition to the centre. Toby Tait, Hammerson’s Director of Asset Management, informed BBC West: “This new partnership with ODEON is the culmination of months of hard work to select the best operator and bring the latest technology and experience into a completely renewed cinema venue.” He further noted that this development enhances their expanding selection of restaurants and entertainment options, specifically introduced to improve both daytime and evening experiences at Cabot Circus, situated in central Bristol.
