Tom Cleverley, Watford’s manager, has confirmed that defender Kevin Keben is expected to be out of action for a minimum of an additional six weeks. The Cameroon under-23 international has played only a single match for the Hornets since his transfer from Toulouse during the summer, having joined the club with a pre-existing knee problem. In his pre-match press conference, Cleverley stated that Keben might be unavailable for up to two months, following an operation on a different knee problem. Additionally, Pierre Dwomoh is slated to miss Friday evening’s Championship fixture against Plymouth Argyle because of illness, concurrently with midfielder Festy Ebosele serving a one-match suspension. Watford will see the return of Moussa Sissoko, who has completed a three-match ban, as the team aims for its fourth victory in five Championship games.
