The poppy wave exhibit has returned to Plymouth and is currently on display at the city’s Guildhall. These handmade, weatherproof poppies were crafted in 2023 through the collective efforts of school pupils, knitting clubs, council personnel, and public donations. According to Plymouth City Council, the concept for this display was conceived in 2023 by Councillor Pauline Murphy, the deputy lord mayor. Previously, the poppy wave was exhibited on the Council House balcony. The poppies will remain accessible for viewing until the Remembrance weekend.
