The main proposed changes are to: Deputy Kirsten Morel stated that the government had previously engaged with various departments. He remarked: “We have already engaged with particular stakeholders such as health and the hospitality sector, parishes and so on – this is very much aimed at any person who has a view and wants to express that view.” He added that if one wishes to organize a large event in Jersey involving more than a single beverage provider, the current licensing process becomes quite intricate. Open public sessions are scheduled to take place at the government offices located on Union Street, from 09:00 to 11:00 GMT on 9 January, and from 12:00 to 14:00 on 22 January.
