Soulful singer-songwriter Rag’n’Bone Man has been confirmed as the newest headliner for an upcoming series of summer concerts scheduled for next year. The artist, recognized for popular songs such as Human and Giant, is set to be the main act at Bedford Summer Sessions 2025, taking place on 5 July at Bedford Park. Elles Bailey will also perform, while Simple Minds were previously announced as headliners for 3 July. The previous year’s event showcased performances by Avril Lavigne, Jess Glynne, Tom Jones, Pete Tong, and Nile Rodgers & Chic. Born Rory Graham in Uckfield, East Sussex, Rag’n’Bone Man began his music journey as a jungle MC. He transitioned to singing after encouragement from his parents. His initial significant success occurred in 2012, when he opened for Joan Armatrading, subsequently achieving a major hit with his gospel-influenced single, Human. The single Giant, a collaboration with Calvin Harris, ranked among the top 10 best-selling singles in the UK during 2019. Bedford Park, the location for these concerts, is a Grade II listed Victorian park situated within walking distance of the town. While it has hosted numerous concerts throughout the years, this year marked its debut as the site for the TK Maxx-sponsored Bedford Summer Sessions.
