Cardiff Rugby has secured Louie Hennessey from Bath Rugby on a short-term loan agreement. Hennessey previously made his senior debut for Bath in September 2022. The 20-year-old centre, a product of Cardiff’s own pathway system, is expected to provide injury cover for the squad. Mason Grady, Harri Millard, and Theo Cabango are among the players currently sidelined for the Welsh region. Hennessey joined Bath’s senior academy in 2022, following his progression through the Cardiff Schools and Cardiff Rugby system during his time at Hartpury College. Despite recently signing a long-term contract extension with Bath, he will now offer temporary support to Cardiff throughout the festive season.
