Great Britain’s Para-ice hockey team finished fourth in the Women’s World Challenge, having lost 4-1 to Team Europe in their final match in Skien, Norway. Their only victory of the tournament was a 1-0 win over Team Pacific. Captain Emily Louise McLean scored for GB. However, a hat-trick by Lena Schroder and a goal from Alexandra Bendiksen secured a convincing victory for Europe. Breanna Wagner’s GB team concluded the tournament with a record of one win and three defeats from their four matches. The United States, Canada, and Team Pacific also participated in the event, which was in its third year. The teams competed against each other once in a round-robin format over four days. Team USA claimed the gold medal for the third time, concluding their tournament with a 3-0 victory over Canada. Canada secured the silver medal for the third consecutive year, and Europe earned the bronze.
