Teenager suffers life-threatening injuries in road collision

Police have reported that a teenager is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following an incident where she collapsed into a road and was subsequently struck by a vehicle. A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the event occurred on Thursday, approximately at 08:15 GMT, on Rochdale Road in Greetland, in the vicinity of West Vale Primary School. Authorities further stated that the girl “collapsed into the road” before being struck by a black Tesla Model Y car. This vehicle was proceeding along Rochdale Road, having come from Stainland Road and heading in the direction of Saddleworth Road. Officers have issued an appeal for any individuals who witnessed the incident, possess video footage from the location, or have any other pertinent information that could assist their investigation, to contact them.
