Following a break-in at a fire station, essential tools and equipment utilized by firefighters for rescue operations at crash sites have been stolen. Specialist cutting gear, valued at several hundred pounds, was reported missing from a fire engine at Brewood Station, located on Bargate Lane in south Staffordshire, shortly after 04:00 GMT on Monday. Among the items taken were a Milwaukee tool bag, which contained multiple saws, an angle grinder, an impact driver, a socket set, and a yellow hydraulic hand pump. Staffordshire Police has issued an appeal for information, asking anyone with potentially relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage to contact the force by dialing 101.
