A man has been formally charged after shop employees were subjected to a knifepoint robbery, according to police statements. Alfie Hough, 25, whose address is listed as no fixed abode, faces one count of robbery and two counts of possessing a bladed article in a public area. These charges arise from an incident on Saturday, around 11:40 GMT, during which £80 was stolen from the till of the One Stop shop located in Sandell Place, Amesbury, Wiltshire. Mr Hough is scheduled to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
