Police have reported that a cyclist in Cornwall was seriously injured following a collision with a camper van. The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 13:40 GMT in Treen, located on the B3315 near St Buryan. Devon and Cornwall Police stated that the cyclist, a man in his 50s from Penzance, suffered severe injuries and was transported to Derriford hospital by Air Ambulance. Investigating officers extended their thanks to members of the public who stopped to provide assistance at the scene. They also issued an appeal for any witnesses or individuals possessing dashcam footage of the incident to come forward. The road was closed for a period of five hours to allow officers to conduct their investigations.
