A man was transported to hospital after sustaining a stab wound during a confrontation in Ossett. West Yorkshire Police reported that officers were dispatched to Towngate at approximately 13:17 GMT on Sunday, responding to an incident involving two men near the Post Office. Emergency responders arrived at the location and discovered the victim, a man in his 40s, with a stab injury to his side. A police spokesperson confirmed he was admitted to hospital for medical attention, where his injuries were described as “non life-threatening”. The force stated that the suspect, identified as a man in his 50s, had departed the scene. Nevertheless, a man has since been apprehended in connection with the occurrence.
