Nottinghamshire Police have launched an appeal following the sighting of a man carrying two machetes in the street. The force confirmed that the individual was observed with the weapons on Nabbs Lane, Hucknall, at approximately 15:20 GMT on Friday. Since the incident, the police have increased their presence in the vicinity and have communicated with a local school to “provide reassurance” while they review CCTV footage to identify the suspect.
