According to Football Insider, Rangers reportedly remain in a leading position to sign Lawrence Shankland, a 29-year-old Scotland international striker. Shankland’s current contract with Heart of Midlothian is scheduled to conclude next summer, with the transfer window set to open in January. Football Insider also reports that Chelsea has made 26-year-old midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall available for transfer during the January window. While Rangers had initially expressed interest, it is considered unlikely that the club possesses the necessary financial resources to acquire the player.
