Supporters have shared their reactions following Hibs’ 1-1 draw against Hearts. Here’s what some of them expressed: Cameron highlighted the team’s defensive vulnerability, noting the recurring issue of conceding late goals. He observed that the defense consistently displays “shocking lapses in concentration” and described the current team as the poorest since the Pat Fenlon era. John acknowledged that the team avoided conceding in the final minutes, but criticized the midfield for lacking composure and failing to dominate an “average Hearts team.” He also pointed out that “clear cut chances should have been put away.” Rhona considered the draw a “positive result,” especially given Hearts’ recent two victories. However, she identified the goalkeeper as a significant negative, stating he “has made too many mistakes now and cost us three points when he flapped at a through pass which lead to Hearts’ equaliser.” Jim simply stated the performance was “Just not good enough.” He suggested that the team’s “defensive stats speak for themselves” and hoped they would be displayed in the changing room, as “they just don’t make good reading.” Scott expressed disagreement with David Gray’s assessment, claiming Gray “must have been watching a different match.” He described the team’s overall performance as “poor all round,” specifically mentioning Lewis Miller’s struggles in defense, his inability to retain possession, and missed opportunities. Scott attributed the team’s position at the “bottom of the league” to issues Gray “cannot see or resolve,” questioning why Gray “talked this squad up time and time again,” concluding, “They are poor all round.” Brian characterized the play as “Really poor football,” citing numerous “aimless long balls.” He also criticized the goalkeeper’s performance and noted that the team “don’t look well coached,” expressing his sadness about this observation. Andy made a strong statement, declaring, “I’d rather play the youth team back line than the charlatans we currently have taking up a jersey.” He attributed the team’s “bottom of the league” standing to a “terrible” defense and a failure to convert chances upfront, asserting that this situation “has been the case for the last five years.” Sandi Toksvig is joined by Gyles Brandreth, Lulu, Emmanuel Sonubi and Alan Davies Grab the mic for Queen, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry and more… Ben Fogle and Kate Humble are back for the festivities at Longleat Safari Park From micro plastics in our air, soil, and waterways, to the extent of food waste at this time of year © 2024 BBC.
