The animal attraction Kew Little Pigs, located in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, has reported the theft of all its goats for the second occasion. Employees discovered that the four goats were missing during the opening procedures on Wednesday morning. This incident follows a previous theft in October 2022, when another group of goats was removed from the premises. Following that event, the farm enhanced its security measures, installing new fences, electric gates, and CCTV cameras. Olivia Mikhail, the owner, stated: “At this stage I honestly don’t think we can have goats here again, it’s soul destroying when something like this happens to animals that you love so much.” She further described them, saying: “They’re such nice goats, funny little things with sweet little faces. They’re friendly.” As an additional security precaution, the owner indicated that the farm’s piglets would be housed in the barn throughout the Christmas period. She commented: “It’s making me feel sick and angry. It makes me worry what goes on.” She continued: “I just think to myself we’re here to bring joy to people and there’s people doing the opposite trying to steal the joy and happiness.” “We’d love them to come back home, I just don’t know what to do,” she added. Thames Valley Police has issued a request for individuals possessing information regarding the burglary to get in touch with them.
