Police seek witnesses following fatal A44 collision

Law enforcement officials are requesting information from the public after a woman in her sixties sustained fatal injuries in a two-vehicle collision on the A44 road near Woodstock. Thames Valley Police reported that a black Vauxhall Astra and a white Volkswagen Tiguan were involved in a collision on the A44, specifically close to its intersection with the A4095, during the early hours of Friday evening. The woman, who was the sole occupant of the Astra, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Two adults and two children travelling in the Tiguan were transported to a hospital for minor injuries and were subsequently released. Authorities have urged anyone who witnessed the event or possesses relevant dashcam footage to get in touch with them.
