Emergency personnel from the fire service successfully communicated with a three-year-old child after the child’s parent inadvertently became locked out of their residence. Firefighters responded to the Scarborough property shortly before 14:00 BST on Sunday. Employing an extension ladder, the crew guided the child to retrieve the house keys and bring them to a partially open first-floor window. According to North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, the team achieved entry in under 10 minutes.
