Bath centre Louie Hennessey has finalized a new “long-term” agreement with the Premiership club. Hennessey originally joined Bath as a teenager, having come from Cardiff Rugby. The 20-year-old player has participated in 10 matches for Bath since his transfer from Cardiff Rugby’s academy in 2022. Last weekend, he contributed two tries to Bath’s victory over their local rivals, Bristol, in the Premiership Rugby Cup. This match was one of three appearances Hennessey has made this season to date. Additionally, Hennessey has played for Wales at the under-20 level, achieving six tries across 17 games over the last two years. The specific duration of his renewed agreement has not been revealed by Bath. Johann van Graan, Bath’s head of rugby, commented on the club’s website, stating, “He is an exceptional talent and his hunger to improve is an attribute Louie has, which I love in a player.” Post navigation Thelin Urges Aberdeen to Overcome League Cup Defeat Ahead of Premiership Match BBC Football Writer Praises Nottingham Forest’s Performance
