Harrogate Town’s captain, Josh Falkingham, who has played in 10 matches across all competitions this season, will be out of action for as long as three months due to a shin injury. The 34-year-old midfielder is scheduled for surgery on Friday for the injury sustained during last Saturday’s 3-0 home loss against AFC Wimbledon. “He’s not in a good way. It’s a huge blow for us as a team and him personally,” stated boss Simon Weaver to BBC Radio York. Weaver added, “It’s a complicated injury and that’s why he’s going to need surgery.”
