Charges have been brought against six individuals subsequent to the confiscation of narcotics at Birmingham Airport. The National Crime Agency (NCA) apprehended these individuals on Monday, recovering suitcases that collectively held approximately 180kg (397Ib) of cocaine. The charges for conspiring to import Class A drugs were filed against two men, two women, and a 17-year-old girl, all from Bradford, in addition to a man from Halesowen, Dudley. According to the NCA, their court appearance at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court was scheduled for Wednesday. The identity of the 17-year-old girl remains undisclosed due to her minor status.
