A sheep necessitated rescue after it fell down a cliff in Devon. The Beer Coastguard Rescue Team was summoned to assist with the operation at Peak Hill, near Sidmouth, on Wednesday. Personnel from the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service successfully brought the wayward animal to the clifftop, utilizing a rescue bag. The sheep then escaped, running off with its rear quarters still enclosed in the rescue bag, but later managed to free itself, as reported by coastguards.
