61-year-old arrested following tanning salon blaze

A tanning salon located in West Sussex was destroyed by a fire, leading to the evacuation of numerous individuals from residences situated above the premises. The incident, which occurred on 21 October at Tan Tastic, on Broadwater Street West in Worthing, has resulted in an arrest. On Saturday, Sussex Police took into custody a 61-year-old man, whose identity has not been disclosed, from Hampshire. He was apprehended on suspicion of committing arson with the intent to endanger lives. The individual has since been granted conditional bail, which is set to expire on 24 January.
