Paul Robinson, a former Premier League goalkeeper, has described Nottingham Forest’s commencement to the current season as “phenomenal” under the leadership of manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Nottingham Forest currently occupies seventh position, having accumulated 16 points from their initial nine matches. This performance represents a significant enhancement compared to the previous season, when the club concluded in 17th place with 32 points, following a four-point deduction. Speaking on the BBC Radio 5 Live Football Daily podcast, Robinson stated, “What a brilliant start they have had.” He added, “You can only give them credit for where they are. We are only nine games into the season but they are already halfway to last season’s points total. That is phenomenal.” Robinson further commented that Nuno “all of a sudden seems to be the right fit for them.” He observed that “there is a lot of good feeling around Forest at the minute and Nuno has to take credit for that.” Robinson also noted that “the system and way they play is getting results and Chris Wood is scoring goals.” He continued, “Wood seems to be going on to the pitch each week knowing he can score goals and that is an incredible feeling for any player to have.” However, Robinson cautioned that “with success comes expectation,” posing the question: “so what is the expectation or reality for this season?” He concluded by advising, “I think you just have to enjoy the ride.” Post navigation Scottish Cup Fourth Round: St Mirren to Face Queen of the South Hearts Defeat Dundee 2-0, Move Up Scottish Premiership; Fan Feedback Requested
