Following their 1-0 defeat to Coventry City, Neil Harris’ team maintains its 11th position in the Championship standings. Millwall manager Neil Harris commented that his team ‘lacked a cutting edge’ during their 1-0 home loss against Coventry City. This defeat marked the Lions’ first in 10 games, with the team notably failing to record a single shot on target. Speaking to BBC Radio London, Harris stated, “I thought first half we were the better team, but lacked a cutting edge and a couple of chances we did have we put over the bar or wide.” He continued, “Second half I thought Coventry were better than us until right at the end.” Harris further reflected on the team’s performance, adding, “I thought the last five minutes summed us up as a group really – we got into really good areas, just lacked the quality to hurt teams at this level.” He elaborated on the club’s ongoing objective, saying, “That’s where we’ve always searched as a football club, and we’ve had it so many times this year where we’ve had the quality and the expected goals has been really high.” Concluding his remarks, Harris observed, “Today we struggled, and at the end of the game a final moment – the ball comes into the box and I’ve got my centre forward and wide player standing outside the penalty area.” Post navigation FA Cup Third Round: Wolves Drawn Against Bristol City Hinshelwood Confident in Brighton’s Ability to Challenge Top Teams
