A late-night vehicle collision resulted in one fatality and injuries to six individuals. Emergency responders were dispatched following reports of a two-vehicle collision involving two black Seat Ibizas. The incident occurred at approximately 23:15 GMT on Friday at a crossroads situated between St Tudy and St Breward in Cornwall. A 19-year-old male, identified as a front-seat passenger in one of the vehicles, was declared deceased at the site of the crash. Six additional individuals were transported to a medical facility for treatment of minor injuries. An 18-year-old man, a resident of Bodmin, has been apprehended under suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by careless driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs. He has since been granted bail, awaiting additional investigations. Personnel from Devon and Cornwall Police’s roads policing unit conducted an investigation at the scene.
