The family of Bryan Perry, 75, who passed away after disappearing during Storm Bert, has stated that he will continue to be “truly loved every day.” Mr. Perry had been walking with his wife and dog on Saturday when he went missing in the River Conwy, near Trefriw in Conwy county. His body was discovered a day later. His family released a statement, saying: “There are no words to describe our feeling of loss but he will be truly loved every day.” They also characterized him as a “much-loved husband, father, brother and grandfather,” noting he was held in great affection by his extended family and many friends. The family additionally expressed their thanks to the police and emergency services. Storm Bert caused the deaths of at least five people over the weekend and led to flooding in hundreds of properties across the UK.
