The initial headlining performers for a summer festival in Plymouth have been revealed as Snow Patrol, James, and Pendulum. The event, named Plymouth Summer Sessions 2025, is managed by Live Nation and is scheduled to occur on the Hoe between June 12 and June 15. According to the organisers, tickets will become available for purchase on November 15, with additional acts yet to be disclosed. Peter Taylor, co-Founder of Cuffe and Taylor, the event promoters, stated: “We couldn’t be more excited to bring Plymouth Summer Sessions back after such a fantastic first year.” The inaugural summer sessions event last year featured Sir Tom Jones, Sting, Bryan Adams, and Madness as headliners. Mr Taylor commented: “The response from fans was incredible, and it’s clear how much people love live music in this iconic setting.” He further added: “With James, Pendulum, and Snow Patrol headlining, we’re looking forward to a weekend that truly offers something for everyone.” In an interview with BBC Radio Devon, Brett James, a festival booker for Live Nation, expressed that he was “very, very happy” with the roster of performers. When questioned about the selection process for headline acts, Mr James explained that the goal was to present a distinct offering each evening. He elaborated: “A little bit is decided on artist availability. It’s more of a case of having something different every night so everybody is catered for.” Mr James also mentioned that an additional headliner is still pending announcement. Organisers confirmed that the British band James, with support from Razorlight, will commence the festival on Thursday, performing popular tracks such as “Sit Down”. The Australian electronic rock group Pendulum is scheduled to perform on Friday, while Snow Patrol will conclude the festival on Sunday.
