Lifelong singer Edwin Rayner stated he rediscovered his motivation to sing nearly a decade after the passing of his wife. The 92-year-old resident of Bournemouth, Dorset, collaborated with his two granddaughters, Liv and Laura, to establish a TikTok account. He recounted the origins of this venture to BBC South Today presenter Edward Sault. During an appearance on the 18:30 GMT program, Mr Rayner expressed his enjoyment in performing songs by artists such as Taylor Swift and Snow Patrol, in addition to his preferred artist, Elvis Presley. The grandfather-of-five has amassed nearly half a million followers on TikTok, stating that the response to his video content has been “unbelievable”.
