A 79-year-old woman has passed away in hospital, ten days after being involved in a road traffic collision in Aberdeenshire. Wilma Porter was operating a black Kia Ceed on the A92 near Gordoun when it was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Focus. The incident took place at 11:45 on Monday, December 9. Ms. Porter, who resided in Montrose, Angus, was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for medical attention but succumbed to her injuries on Thursday. Her family extended their thanks to the emergency services and hospital staff for their “continued efforts throughout this difficult time.” Sgt Pete Henderson of Police Scotland said: “Our thoughts are with Wilma’s family and friends and those affected by the crash at this difficult time.
