A man has appeared in court and entered a not guilty plea to the murder of a woman. Charles Graham, aged 77, who stands accused of murdering Davinia Graham, 67, on August 30 in Cheltenham, attended a short hearing at Bristol Crown Court. The defendant, residing on Fairfield Road, Cheltenham, spoke only to verify his date of birth and to plead not guilty during the proceedings on Wednesday. His trial is slated to begin on March 3, 2025, and is anticipated to run for approximately one week. Judge Peter Blair KC, who holds the title of Recorder of Bristol, scheduled a subsequent hearing for February 4 and ordered Mr. Graham to be remanded into custody. Davinia Graham, known as Dee among her friends, was declared deceased by emergency services after they were summoned to an address on Fairfield Road on August 31.
