76-Year-Old Man Dies After Car and Taxi Collision in Falkirk

A 76-year-old man has died following a collision between a car and a taxi in Falkirk. The incident, which involved a white BMW X6 and a black Kia Cee’d taxi, occurred on Cochrane Avenue at approximately 03:05. The driver of the BMW was pronounced deceased at the scene. The occupants of the taxi did not sustain any injuries. Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward and contact them. Sgt Fraser Mitchell stated: “Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.“In particular, if you were driving in the area at the time please check your dashcam to see if you have anything that could help with our investigation.”
