David McDonald, a 21-year-old resident of the Carryduff area, has been identified as the individual who passed away after a single-vehicle collision on Saturday evening. The crash occurred on the Carryduff Road in Temple, County Down, shortly after 19:00 GMT. Emergency services, including police and ambulance personnel, responded to the location, where Mr McDonald was pronounced deceased. The vehicle’s driver, also a man in his 20s, suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening. In a statement, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) indicated that officers from its Collision Investigation Unit “continue to investigate the circumstances” of the collision. Authorities have issued an appeal for any witnesses or motorists possessing dashcam footage to contact them. Separately, an elderly man in his 80s remains in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision that took place near Dungannon. This separate incident occurred on Saturday, shortly after 09:20 GMT, on the Ballygawley Road. Both drivers involved in this particular collision were transported to the hospital.
