A 21-year-old individual is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, facing a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of an elderly man in Antrim. Anthony ‘Tony’ Miskimmon, aged 74, sustained a punch to the head and was rendered unconscious on Station Road within the town on Saturday, November 2. He subsequently passed away in hospital the subsequent Wednesday. Earlier in the current month, an individual had appeared before the court on charges of wounding and criminal damage related to the same incident. Following a review of these charges by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS), he has now been formally charged with manslaughter.
