A 19-year-old man has appeared in court, facing charges related to a series of burglaries across South Yorkshire and three counts of assaulting an emergency worker. The individual, who is of no fixed abode, appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on 21 December. He was charged in connection with recent burglaries committed in Swinton, near Rotherham, as well as in the Sheffield districts of Walkley, Wadsley Bridge, Wincobank, High Green, Grenoside, and Norfolk Park. Furthermore, he faces a charge of driving a vehicle at police officers on 13 December in an attempt to evade arrest.
