Police have reported that a 16-year-old boy has passed away following a road accident in a West Sussex village. The incident involved a Vauxhall Corsa, which crashed on Emsworth Common Road, Westbourne, near Chichester, at approximately 22:45 GMT on Wednesday. The boy, who was from Emsworth, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. Sussex Police stated that two 17-year-old girls and another 16-year-old boy were transported to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening. A spokesperson for the force has appealed for any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage of vehicles in the area at the time to come forward.
